Intellectually property protects the authors who created the online contents. And the authors will also earn benefits through the commercial action. As the result, people are more willingly to create genuine and creative work online. In other words, Intellectual Property promotes the development and growth of initial online resources created by diverse people. According to the article, there are three main mechanisms in intellectual properties: copy right, patent, and trademark ( Renner, 2015)
Patent: Patent is to protect the new product and special processes that e-learning practitioner and content developer created (Renner, 2015) . Holding the patent prevents the third party takes advantages (use, sell and make) of such new product.
Trademark: trademark protects the name, company, and marks of the product.The trademark helps the customers distinguish this product from the other (Renner, 2015 ).
